UFOMAMMUT
UFOMAMMUT
Ufomammut is a power trio formed in Italy in 1999 by Poia, Urlo and Vita, a lineup that has remained stable since. The trio have developed a sound characterized by lengthy songs centered on repeated heavy riffs coupled with droning vocals and the use of sound effects and synths.

8 is the Ufomammut’s 8th album, comprised of 8 tracks that flow into each other without interruption. This flow can also be seen when you tip 8 horizontally, thus it morphs into the leniscate from algebraic geometry – ∞ – a plane curve that meets at central point – or more commonly known as the infinity symbol.

A continuous stream of movement reflective of the uninterrupted nature of the album but also the continued togetherness of the essential elements of the band – Urlo, Poia and Vita – since the beginning of the band’s history in 1999. ∞ tipped vertically sees us return to the number 8. It must be stressed there is no singular pronunciation of the title, 8 is to be spoken in every language e.g. “eight” in Engish, “otto” in Italian, “acht” in German, huit in french and so on. 8 is a continuous flux of music, a singular entity, which can be defined in micro measurements by its 8 satellite songs. Each track expands upon the preceding song, unfolding into an exceedingly dense and malevolent journey, resulting in this being Ufomammut’s most extreme venture yet, with no room for breathing space in the 48 minutes.

Ufomammut’s status as one of the most potent, powerful and artistic contemporary doom artists in existence continues to captivate the masses, and the band’s worldwide grasp grows wider with each release. Ufomammut’s live show is supported by the internationally acclaimed video and graphic art of Malleus, a rock artists’ collective of which Poia and Urlo form a part, who conjure the entirety of Ufomammut’s visual impact.

Ufomammut is:

Poia – Guitars and fx
Urlo – Bass, vocals, FX and synths
Vita – Drummer

Ciccio – Soundlord
Lu – visuals
Usnea
Usnea
Usnea formed in late 2011. After solidifying a line-up, they fine-tuned material for a debut record. The S/T debut was recorded at Haywire Studios with Fester (who also recorded records by Stoneburner, Nux Vomica, Atriarch, Burials, Knelt Rote, Rabbits, Spectral Tombs, etc). Adam Gonsalvez mastered the mammoth hour long four song session and Orca Wolf released the LP in February of 2013. The S/T LP features the first 2 songs clocking in at just over 30 minutes, an 11x22" poster/lyric insert and a download code for the record tracks plus two extra songs (totaling almost an hour of music). Eternal Warfare released a cassette version of the S/T album containing all four songs in late 2013. Usnea embarked on a West Coast tour in May 2013 followed by a short tour to Dead Fest in Oakland later that August with Portland buddies Stoneburner and Bastard Feast. In January of 2014, Usnea hit the studio with Fester again for a split 7” EP with Ruins co-released stateside by Halo of Flies Records and in Europe by Germany’s Twisted Chords Records in June 2014. After inking a deal with Relapse records, Usnea went back to Haywire and close friend Fester to record the 2nd full length LP, Usnea's Relapse Records debut. In August 2014, Usnea toured the West Coast, half with Fórn from Boston, and half with Augurs from Oakland. A full US tour to support the 2nd LP will be in the works after the new record drops with tentative plans to tour Europe on the horizon.

Previous projects members of Usnea have been in: The Makai, Amarok, Banishing, Dopesmoker, Absence of Light, Lasers for Eyes, Bodhisattva, Effrays, Electric Desert, and Descent From The Cross.
In The Company Of Serpents
In The Company Of Serpents
In the Company of Serpents are a doom/sludge two-piece from Denver, Colorado. Founded in early 2011, the band came into being when vocalist/guitarist Grant Netzorg met drummer JJ Anselmi at a show their former bands were playing. Later that Spring they recorded a 4 song demo in a friend's basement studio, which they paid for in AR-15 Ammunition and beer. Shortly afterwards, In the Company of Serpents entered Moduel Overload studios in Denver to record their self-titled debut, which was subsequently self-released on cassette in early 2012.

In late 2011 JJ left the band on amicable terms, and Joseph Weller Myer has been slaying the skins in his stead ever since. In May of 2013 Joe & Grant entered the studio to record their follow-up, Of the Flock, which was subsequently mixed and mastered by Billy Anderson. Of the Flock was self-released on vinyl on Halloween of 2013.
Aseethe
Aseethe
Aseethe, the doom trio of Brian Barr (guitar, vocals, synth), Eric Diercks (drums, samples), and Danny Barr (bass, vocals), has a singular emphasis on crushing doom that utilizes space and repetition, taking a tip from drone music. The band is working on a new album for release in 2017.

Since Aseethe's inception, the band has been a favorite of other musicians and toured/shared bills with the likes of The Body, Northless, Inter Arma, Thou, and Bell Witch, and they'll be playing Midnite Communion IV in November with Cough, Hell, Destroy Judas, and Funerary, to name a few. Aseethe was recently picked up by Hexagram Booking and is working on a fall tour around Midnite Communion IV. Aseethe has released splits with Ghaust, Shores of the Tundra, and Mauul; Reverent Burden, a 12-inch; Red Horizon, a 12-inch that was a reworking of a Barn Owl track; the improvisational album Burdens II, and the EP Nothing Left, Nothing Gained.
