Emerald Siam
Emerald Siam
Arising out of the ashes of beloved Denver noise rock band Overcasters, the gents of Emerald Siam present their brand of big, loud, droning, danceable space and psych rock, catapulting audiences ears and souls forward, forward to the precipice of the abyss.

Emerald Siam began at the end of 2012 with the shared vision of guitarist/vocalist Kurt Ottaway and bassist Todd Spriggs. With the addition of guitarist Billy Armijo and drummer Greg Johnson, the group melds their shared and disparate influences into a swirling mass of jarring reverbed guitars, thumping bottom end and a monster beat.

To date, Emerald Siam has been incredibly lucky to have shared the stage with the likes of The Warlocks, Crystal Stilts, Dead Meadow, A Place to Bury Strangers, Wovenhand, Mystic Braves, Weekend, Tjutjuna, The Fresh & Onlys, The Wytches, Dum Dum Girls, True Widow, Disappears, Myrrors and many others.
Straight Outta Luck
Straight Outta Luck
Straight Outta Luck started out in its earliest form as a conversation and concept between current members Ryan (Teenage Combover) and Natalie (Dr. Neptune) in 2008. Later that year, they enlisted Ryan's old friend Dan (Voice of Treason, Social Stigma, Chromatones) on guitar. Finally in 2010 after three drummers, three potential singers, three practice spaces and a number of other setbacks (hence the name Straight Outta Luck), the lineup was almost finalized with Ryan Frechette on drums. The vocalist position was filled shortly after by Eric (Preacher) in early 2011, and the band was ready to play.
Unfortunately, after only a couple of shows, Frechette had to leave us for California, and Preacher had to leave us due to taking a new job which conflicted with his practice schedule. But through circumstances unforeseen to us, we had the great fortune of finding Erik Landgren (Eulalie) as our new drummer, and Johnny on vocals to solidify the band lineup for the road and beyond.
SOL is currently up and coming in the Denver punk scene, and quickly approaching a position as a front-runner. So far we are very appreciative that every room we have played has been filled with an energetic and enthusiastic crowd. We are looking forward to bringing this energy into new venues both in and outside of Colorado.
We thank you all very much for your support, and hope to see you at the next show.

What do Denver, CO Little Rock, AR and Bern, Switzerland have in common? Pretty much nothing unless you are talking about a band called Dwayne. Comprised of guitarist/vocalist/keyboardist Andy Tanner, (Laymen Terms) vocalist/guitarist Chris Fogal, (Gamits/TaunTaun) drummer Andy Thomas (Only Thunder, Tin Horn Prayer ) and bassist Michael Marti,(The Plus Nomination, Goodbye Fairbanks ) A Band Called Dwayne draws members from all of the aforementioned cities and speak six languages between them. (Note: Both Andys and Chris only speak English)

A Band Called Dwayne's members are seasoned, world tourists, songwriters and borderline alcoholics who are excited to bring you their mash-up of collective influences.

While currently geographically isolated from each other, the members will convene in Denver in May of 2014 to take the songs they have been trading back and forth via the internet and record their debut record, play a few shows and, after an eventual tour of Europe, likely disappear back into glorious obscurity.
Calder's Revolvers
Calder's Revolvers
Hailing from Denver, Calder’s Revolvers offers an unabashed take on modern soul, with heavy backbeats, pulsing guitar riffs and heart-wrenching vocals. Their pop-focused arrangements walk a line between rock and R&B, revealing layers of horns, organs and a chorus of backup harmonies that evoke memories of another era.

Calder’s Revolvers formed in 2010 with Andy Schneider on vocals, Brad Johnson on guitar, Cole Strain on bass and Sam Gault on drums. After releasing two EPs (“Self-Titled” and “Black Bloc”), the band moved from their garage-rock roots to a more soulful exploration. In 2013, they released their debut album, “Steady By Your Side.” The album was voted Readers’ Choice for Best New Recording in Westword’s 2013 Best of Denver. Soon after, the band added backup singer Alea Kilgore, Ross Hostage on sax and Kevin James on trumpet.
