A. Tom Collins
A. Tom Collins
A. Tom Collins and his band are an act hard to pigeon-hole, navigating the murky swamps of New Orleans R&B and '60s Soul, and following the cues of diverse inGluences from Tom Waits and Cab Calloway, to The Stooges and Sam Cooke. A. Tom Collins drops anchor with an impressive crash at each and every port, transfixing bewildered audiences with its strange brand of old time futurism that is as familiar as it is refreshing. Expect wild horns, surprising rhythms, catchy gang chants, and one hell of a live show led by piano-man Aaron Collins, whom Denver's alt-weekly Westword called 'one of the city's best front-men.'

In its short history, A. Tom Collins has been a featured headliner the Denver Post Underground Music Showcase in 2011/12/13, made appearances at SXSW 11/12/13, Denver's Westword Music Showcase 2010 to 13, Snowball Music Festival 2012 in Vail, the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, Bohemian Nights Festival in Ft. Collins, New Belgium's Tour de Fat, and toured the European continent this past summer with dates in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, and the UK.

They have shared bills with notable acts such as Alabama Shakes, Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Sally Ford And The Sound Outside, March Fourth Marching Band, Nathaniel Rateliff, and the late, great T-Model Ford. This fall of 2013,the band hits the road in support of their debut full-length 'Stick & Poke', produced by the legendary Bob Ferbache(Slim Cessna's Auto Club/16 Horsepower), is available now on CD,12" Vinyl, and digitally everywhere. South West and West Coast dates TBA soon.
Land Lines
Land Lines
Land Lines is an impossible decade, some gap in history where the tines of early electric pianos shimmer in echo chambers, baroque cellos thrum minor chords, and modern percussive rhythms build with surgical precision, all culminating in sparing, angular pop melodies that find new creative spaces in an otherwise overpopulated musical landscape.

Land Lines arose from the ashes of Matson Jones, when Martina Grbac, Anna Mascorella, and Ross Harada, regrouped and began crafting new songs. After releasing their self-titled LP, Land Lines, on Denver’s Cash Cow Records, Anna left the group to attend graduate school; James Han, who had been recording and touring with Nathaniel Rateliff and Gregory Alan Isakov, joined and helped shape the new sonic direction of the band.

Land Lines has performed at venues such as the Boulder Theatre & Red Rocks Amphitheater, and has shared the stage with artists such as Devotchka, Nathaniel Rateliff, Esme Patterson and Black Heart Procession.

THE NEW ALBUM

In early 2014, Land Lines recruited Xandy Whitesel to record/mix and TW Walsh (Sufjan Stevens, The Shins, David Bazan) to master a second LP, The Natural World, which was released on January 30th, 2015. With sultry songs that saunter, thrust, and linger, The Natural World is a treasure trove of heart breaking songs of love, loss, and human nature and ushers in the next era of Land Lines’ sonic exploration.
Reverend Deadeye
Reverend Deadeye
The Reverend Deadeye is the Reverend’s son of a Reverend’s son. He spent his youth handlin’ snakes and performin’ at tent revivals alongside his Pentecostal family on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. This sacred musical heritage finds its way prominently into his performances. But don’t expect a Sunday mornin’ church service; instead, expect a Saturday night baptism with fire holy rollin’ revival. With his modified wok-lid resonator guitar, homemade beer can microphone, kick drum, and washtub snare, he delivers a punk-rock version of gritty pre-war delta blues which he blends with fiery gospel interpretations capable of turnin’ the whole room into a spirit filled bar room revival.
