Extra Gold
Extra Gold
Colorado honky tonk revivalists known for their energetic, and dynamic live performances. Since forming in 2017 as the house band for Syntax Physic Opera's monthly honky tonk night, Extra Gold has become a sought after name in Denver's growing country music scene.
Bison Bone
Bison Bone
Bison Bone is a working class Americana Rock band from Denver, CO. They have shared the stage with the Son Volt, American Aquarium, Susto, Corb Lund, Israel Nash.

'Bison Bone masterfully blends alt-country with experimental guitar rock with thoughtful, evocative storytelling. One is struck by how Courtney Whitehead and the rest of the band make their take on country and rock very much their own thing. You hear nods to Townes Van Zandt, Gram Parsons and others who connected the rootsy warmth of country with an otherworldly energy except that Bison Bone is connected to another realm of the cosmos and the songs transform intense, potentially soul crushing pain into inspiration and catharsis.' - Queen City Sound and Art

"Bison Bone’s new single Crying Shame is exactly what Americana rock should sound like. It has plenty of soul and with the deep hearty vocals it feels like the singer truly knows the pain of what the song describes. Couple that with the strong guitar riff and you’ve got yourself a song to listen to at least three times a day. " - 303 Magazine

"When Whitehead writes about loss, love and resentment, there is a psychological and social awareness that informs the lyrics with an uncommon humanity and compassion that transcends genre. Because of that and the group's innovative sounds and song structures, it is impossible to pigeonhole Bison Bone as just another Americana band." - Westword
Claire Heywood
Claire Heywood
CLAIRE HEYWOOD is a Denver singer-songwriter whose smoky, emotive voice and thoughtful lyrics captivate audiences in vulnerable solo shows. Her EP, "The Wind, It Howls," is a full-band reimagining of six original songs. Heywood's band invokes Neo-Soul, Indie-Pop & Blues to back her soaring, heartfelt vocal stylings.

In late 2017, Heywood met Denver producer and studio/label owner Joshua Olsen (Third & James Studios) at an open mic. They teamed up to record six original songs, produced by Olsen and backed by a full band. Heywood's debut record is a collection of frank, tender songs featuring lush vocal stylings to beckon the listener into vignettes of sensitivity, suffering, and reckoning.

With quietly devastating imagery and heart-wrenching vocal melodies set against an energetic indie-pop & soul sound, "The Wind, It Howls" showcases Heywood's prowess as a lyricist and promise as a bandleader.
