DON'T PANIC is a two day celebration of Colorado's best punk rock.
Our mission is to showcase the best and the brightest punk, garage and hardcore that Colorado have to offer, while inviting some of our favorite bands from all over the country! This isn't a "for profit" festival, we're throwing a party with some of our favorite bands and people. It was inspired by small community driven festivals such as THE FEST, Awesome Fest, Death To False Hope, The UMS & What's Left Fest.

Don't Panic is a collaboration between "Dammit" Damian Burford of Mostly Harmless Podcast and Airwolf PR, Vinnie Cheap from 3 Kings Tavern, Jim Norris from Mutiny Information Cafe & Curtis Wallach of Hi-Dive.

Don't Panic was taken from Damian's favorite book, The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy. We are living in what feels like turbulent times, this is a festival about inclusion and bringing people together. The world might be a scary place, but DON'T PANIC. We can come together and together we can conquer the world.

From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:
"In many of the more relaxed civilizations on the Outer Eastern Rim of the Galaxy, the Hitchhiker's Guide has already supplanted the great Encyclopaedia Galactica as the standard repository of all knowledge and wisdom, for though it has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate, it scores over the older, more pedestrian work in two important respects.
First, it is slightly cheaper; and secondly it has the words DON'T PANIC inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover."

Can my band play?
Our line up filled up QUICK. There are sooooo many great bands we unable to ask to play this little festival. Unfortunately, our line up is just about complete! We may have more bands to announce, but right now our line up is complete!

I was born. I grew up. Lived hard. Joined the band ALL. Toured the world. Lived harder. Formed the band DRAG THE RIVER with Snodgrass. Toured some more. Lived even harder. Now, with the release of this solo record, will be touring some more, alone. I hope you enjoy it. Let's live hard together!!!!!

Erin Cookman
Erin Cookman
For such a young artist, Fort Collins local musician Erin Cookman demonstrates a surprising amount of maturity and talent in her recent release of Ha Ha Ha. Certainly, it is a somewhat simple project, a young woman accompanied only by her acoustic guitar. However, Cookman’s voice emanates a clear confidence and fortitude, backed by modest chords. The five-song release radiates a sense of subtle defiance and independence, proudly insisting on the album’s title track, I won’t waste my time on you/I promise you I promise me too/I’ve got better things to do. Cookman sings, ironically, with an extremely beautiful voice throughout the album, of subjects enveloped in anger and betrayal, nostalgia and pain. A notable musician indeed, Cookman will open for the Alkaline Trio in the coming months in Denver.
Jack's Smirking Revenge
Jack's Smirking Revenge
JSR started in a bedroom in 2008 as an outlet for singer/guitarist Alex Pelissero to complain about his 19 year old problems, like heartbreak and capitalism. People compared the songs to Billy Bragg a lot. It morphed into a full electric band around 2012 and has continued to play dive bars and sweaty garages, except now we sing about late 20-something problems, like back problems and the crippling terror of existence. Just kidding, they're still heartbreak and capitalism.
