Their appearances at SXSW and Glastonbury Fest, along with over 350 U.S., U.K., and European tour dates in the 2 short years since their formation, have earned them stellar reviews from Daytrotter, The Washington Post, KEXP, The Village Voice, American Songwriter and NPR, among others. Langhorne Slim mixes folk, blues, and rock in a way that only lunatic rocker Hasil Adkins could understand. The Brooklyn-via-Pennsylvania songwriter conjures images of many other neo-folk singers, but there’s soul, fire, and warmth in his recordings. – NPR
