The music of You Me & Apollo ranges from quiet folk to groove infused rock and has been described as an unholy union of Hank Williams and Otis Redding. The birth of You Me & Apollo, in 2007, consisted of singer-songwriter Brent Cowles. Now, In 2011, Cowles joined with some very talented friends and the result has been a unique and explosive sound something that makes you put your beer down, swivel your bar stool toward the stage, and watch with anticipation.

indie folk or americana or... whatever it's called when a group of friends get in a room with an acoustic guitar, and what ever other instruments they can find, there is a harmonica though... would that be alt-country? would that be so bad?

Joshua Charles Dillard is a real piece of work. He was born of a beautiful mother in the United States at eleven in the morning. Porous with the ache of a man who refused to run away, he’s discovered a dimension only song occupies. To express the unexpressed and inexpressible, to transcend the trite, to put all these things into a crucible and watch them burn.
