Glowing House is a Denver-based new-folk band comprised of husband-and-wife duo Steve Varney and Jess Parsons and features a rotating cast of prominent Denver musicians. Almost two years after their critically acclaimed debut album, The Annual Demise of Every Aspen, Glowing House returns with their sophomore effort, Days Run Out. Released in June, 2012, Days Run Out reveals a highly evolved and polished sound for Glowing House. The band's musicianship can only be matched by their motivation to have you fall in love with their songs.
Elin Palmer

I also have some killer songs about sandwiches! Elin Palmer writes, performs and records music with various artists, and also for herself in her band of intense accordion/Nyckelharpa magic. She plays mostly Violin and Nyckelharpa but has been called a "multi instrumentalist". She was born in Värmland Sweden and her music roots stem back to the folk music of Sweden! Her sound often speaks to the whimsical and beautiful nature of everyday life. She has worked with many outstanding artists including 16 Horsepower, The Czars, Wovenhand, and the The Fray. She was a core member and string arranger for Munly in their former group Munly and The Lee Lewis Harlots. She has created music for commercials with videographer and cyclist Kelly Magelky of Filament Productions. She plays with Eric Bachmann of Crooked Fingers, Archers of Loaf, as well as performs compositions by Tom Hagerman. Elin recently toured and played strings for Devotchka! And she played Nyckelharpa on a song with amazing and lovely Basia Bulat and recorded strings for M. Ward on this tour! She is always looking for cool new projects to work on:)
Lightlooms

Lightlooms, a post-piano-rock band from Denver, formed after a serendipitous meeting between Meaghan Lillis (vocals/piano) and Joshua Gunslinger (guitar/ambient sounds) at a local bookstore. The two soon found musical common ground and began writing atmospheric piano-pop songs together. Eventually Chris Durant (drums) and Zack Martinson (bass) joined the group, creating a more dynamic and expressive sound. Together the group combines classically trained piano playing and emotive vocals with abstract guitar layers and polyrhythmic percussion. They are currently working on a series of three EP's, to be released as seasons turn.
