If your idea of a sporting event is ironic facial hair, v-neck t-shirts, nerd glasses and PBR, then the Denver Kickball Coalition (DKBC) is a home run. The loose collection of beer-swilling, mustache-waxing base runners started as a way to prove to some Norwegians that Americans could do more than drink and smoke. Nearly 10 years later, it’s a genuine phenomenon among a group of people who, by and large, sucked at sports in high school.
