the Don'ts and be Carefuls
the Don'ts and be Carefuls
Since 2008, The Don'ts and Be Carefuls have been dreaming up electrifying songs that have been known to incite whole crowds to break out in dance. Known for what have been described as intense, fun songs, The Don'ts and Be Carefuls send tremors through sweaty limbs, their wall-of-sound electro pop seeping from their very pores. Amping up for their long-awaited second release, The Don'ts and Be Carefuls will turn your head, and make you shake to your bones.
"…proof that rock music played with unself-conscious abandon is never boring." Westword
Hindershot
Hindershot
Hindershot was founded on a simple premise: music, however challenging, should always be a good time. Despite poetic lyrics, unusual chord changes, complex harmonies, and an eclectic list of influences (Beck, T. Rex, David Bowie, The Beach Boys, The Pixies), Hindershot boasts a repertoire of post-whatever jams you can dance to. With lyrical content ranging from the mundane and light-hearted (inhalers, insects, and oscillating fans) to the grandiose and grim (black holes, death, political unrest), songwriter Stuart Confer weaves a complex, mythologized autobiography through details and metaphor. The immediacy, earnestness and breathless energy of punk rock still grin through, missing teeth and all.
Kissing Party
Kissing Party
Kissing Party has perfected what pop music should be: infectious two-minute songs that stick in the mind like glue. They are known for their jangly guitars, raucous live shows, and nearly perfect blend of boy/girl vocals.

Kissing Party arrived on the Denver scene with their first official release, Rediscover Lovers. The album drew high praise and earned them 3rd best album in the Denver Post for 2007. National press began to take notice with release of their second album, The Hate Album. Kissing Party was featured in Filter magazine, Three Imaginary Girls, and topped many college radio stations' lists for best album. Over the past couple of years, Kissing Party has spent the majority of their time touring in support of "The Hate Album" which has taken them cross country, from Boston to Seattle. The band finally took a break this year and went into the studio to record their most promising release to date, "Wasters Wall."

"Kissing Party has nearly perfected what it was already doing best: making straight ahead, two-minute pop songs."
-The Onion AV Club

"Without question, you will be hooked once you hear them."
-Skope Magazine

"Kissing Party makes me want to dance and drink and dance some more."
-My Backpages ( Twist & Shout Records )
I Sank Molly Brown
I Sank Molly Brown
"In the same way the world has embraced the work of great thinkers like Plato, Socrates, Tolstoy and Tolkien, the world will soon respect the work of I Sank Molly Brown. Their labor and success in the fields of metaphysics, numerology, quantam mechanics and massage has been unparalelled in their generation and even their species. Indeed, they could have stopped with their highly respected thesi, 'The hermanutic contextualization of Geddy Lee for the layman' and 'A jugga-wugga observed', but (praise be) no! they continue on, even into this late hour, primitive tools in their hands, improving the human world with their song of science and passion."
