After 3 years of almost non-stop releases and shows, Kamtin Mohager, 24 year old brain-child behind Denver, CO-based Psychedelic Dance-Punk project, THE CHAIN GANG OF 1974, is gearing up to release his debut-full length album, WHITE GUTS, on April 26th, 2010. Spending a week in various “on-the-go” studios, ranging from the secluded mountains of Colorado Springs to the downtown city environment, Mohager co-wrote and and co-produced the album with friends Christophe Eagleton and Isom Innis (Southern Belle). After having spent the last year as the touring bass player for platinum-selling group, 3OH!3, Mohager has finally set his eyes on delivering an album that strays away from the grungy Electro sound he first introduced himself with. With the obvious influences from heroes David Bryne, James Murphy, and Beck, Mohager compiled a record that is reminiscent of the not-so-cliche 80’s sound with a modern twist.
