Sofo is a product of rich melodies and modern rock. The band is compiled of three young and talented artists; Matt Oviatt on drums, Tommy Oviatt on vocals, guitar and keys, Will Oviatt on vocals and bass guitar. Sofo was originally formed in Logan, Iowa driven firmly by Matt, Tom and Will. The sound began purely off strong melodic influences such as U2, Coldplay and Incubus. Sofo released their first act on the 12th of January in 2005 in Omaha, Nebraska impressing an incredible crowd at Sokal Hall. In August, of the same year Sofo moved their writing base from a small Iowa farm to the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado. Sofo has found more depth in strong funk slap base, powerful guitar rhythms, demanding beats, beautiful keys, and deep lyrics all harmonized into one sound that is only beginning to be discovered….
