the Radical Knitting Circle. after years of playing with Esau and Frame, we finally feel like we know what we are doing, or what we want to do. We came together as Believe You Me.. with Kevin Crouse on bass.. but it died. Esau went to Spain and Frame and I started Orphaned Gears with Joe and Chris.. it hasn’t died, but has proven to be more of a long term side project.. and so now we find ourselves together again.. playing old songs, new songs, other peoples songs… some times we play a song once, and then it’s over and done with.. we got it out.. but more typically, we will sing these songs for years, perhaps decades, reinventing them every time they’re played, or every year or so.. we are going to start working on an album soon.. we’re excited about it. you should be too. and just to clarify, Monkeyfucked was recorded as Believe You Me with many friends, including Kevin on accordion, David Smith on upright bass, Cathy Kilmer on trombone, Angela Janzen on viola and Whitney Taylor on flute.. it was years ago.. but it turned out nicely and we still love to play that song.. Frame and Esau rock it every time. the Radical Knitting Circle.
