Le Boom is an indie band from Denver, Colorado known for its upbeat and danceable rock/pop music. It was the brainchild of lead singer and songwriter, Maylyn Martinez, and was formed in 2004 when she and lead guitarist Kyle Loving separated from their former band, Doozer. They completed their new lineup by uniting with bass player Dave F. Moore and drummer Tyler Dokken. The band released its first album, Got It Tied, in 2004, which immediately received a Critic’s Choice endorsement from Westword Magazine, a weekly Denver periodical. Le Boom has played in numerous Colorado venues, as well as many outside the state, and as a result has built up a dedicated following. Le Boom is set to release their long awaited 2nd album in late August
