After a resolution and conclusion to our debut album, we face a bit of a challenge meeting within our minds and thinking as one. We have a slue of new material and no time (or commitment) to bring it all together. That being said, we shall do what we’ve always done – consume it like the Johns we are and let things smooth themselves.

With new writing comes new focus, inspiration, and drive. This new fuel shall push us further than we’ve ever been as a band, and as individual musicians. Our group chemistry is finally cohesive, and the pieces have all been put into place. The jackets have been tried on, altered, and now fit like a glove. Time to wear them out and use them as they were intended….

Latch is a 4-piece original rock band from Louisville, CO. Pulling influences from bands like Fugazi, Janes Addiction, Sonic Youth & Radiohead, Latch puts forth a full and gritty texture of sounds. Latch plays to a range of audiences focusing on a style of intensely passionate bass-driven rock, hypnotizing drums beats and sustaining guitar. Our strength lies in our writing, and translates well to live environments and improv multimedia shows.

We find satisfaction in the studio as artists, appreciating the momentary capture of music, a chance to paint for the long-term, and a platform to grow on. We recorded our debut album at Globalsound Studios in Broomfield, which was released in June of 2007.
