A Texas originated team The Jen Korte Band has been playing for going on 3 years on and off. They have just recently gotten back together and are overtaking the Denver music scene with a quickness.Including being written up as Denver Westword’s Critic’s Choice in early March of this year. As both self taught musicians,the bands formulates their style from a mixture of different influences and personal touches to create a sound that is vaguely familiar, yet something all of its own. Jen and Morgan continue to play on their own as a two piece that sounds as if there was an entire band on the stage, blowing you away with the sheer power they release in every live performance they play. A merriment of blues, jazz, folk, and funk with a little bit of rock, this band knows no musical bounderies and has a sound that anyone and everyone can and does enjoy.
