A question often asked: Why the name “Film School”?
The name came about as a play on the prescribed ideas of what a kid from the suburbs can do if he/she wants to get into a creative career. The answers are something along the lines of: you can go to art school, you can go to film school, you can start a band, etc. And so the band was known as Film School. (Note to young people: we highly do not recommend starting a band as a career)
