DeStefano is my name. you can call me jonny. i don’t know much about things and stuff. i do know however that I love shark attacks, hockey, music, electric boogaloo, upright bass and back field in motion. my grandfather was a gangster in Chicago. He was killed when I was three. I don’t mean to sensationalize for entertainment purposes but my grandfather totally got his arm blown off as he tried to block the shot of the sawed off shot gun that killed him. I like waffles. I play in a snotty punk rock band called the Hate fuck Trio. There are 4 of us. We’ve toured around the United States of Idiocracy many times and have met a lot of cool people and drank a lot of beer. we’ve toured around with our friends in NOFX a few different times which has included a visit to Japan. brodan, Frozilla and Mothra were in full effect. We’ve played SXSW, NXNW, and CMJ, rocked Red Rocks under a clear blue sky, released a couple of albums, signed 17 boobies and partied with Ron Jeremy, Jello Biafra, Ian Mackaye and sweet bands like Dinosaur Jr., Bad Religion, Wesley Willis, DFL, Ataris, Everlast, All/Descendents, Fishbone, Blastoff-heads, Slim Cessna, Czars, Lagwagon, Swinging Utters, Seal, Electric Summer and many more. with the help of Dirty Walt, I’m still high from the Fishbone snowboarding tour of 2001. Definitely enjoyed my last visit to New York, chillin with my buddy Bart and Adam Horovitz in the East Village. Soft ball with the beasties, dog park, dog poop, pulled hamstring, block party. all cool memories baudrillard style. the week of the DNC was very memorable and inspirational. road tripped with shig to hang with z-trip, troublemaker and Johnny H. in Aspen. that was fresh. as was volunteering for the Obey Giant Manifest Hope display at the Andeken Gallery. protecting – with navin R johnson karate techniques – brilliant Obama art, by the likes of the date farmers, shepard fairey, sam florez, scott lafabvre, and more. the art moved me to the core. chewbacca bukkake is my musical endeavor that i have been developing for some time now. it originated as beats, sounds and stupid words amalgamated, ricocklified, other big words. now it is band performing live shows. The musicians incude Johnny Morehouse, Brandi Shigley, Red Saigon, Grant Williams, UZIEGO, Alex Herbert and myself. the potential is quite frightening. come check us out some time. Every Wednesday night you can catch me cyber djing at City O City from 9 to close. I play a lot of rok, sol and latin. come have drinks, eat pizza, have sex, see what happens. hate fuck trio, chewbacca bukkake and bsous (Brandi Shigley’s side project) are all gearing up to release albums this year or next. that’s if buddha smiles on us. If you eat at watercourse i recommend the eggplant parmesan. I play hockey. red is my color. taurus my sign. dog my year. horror my genre. tell yo mama vote obama. I have a son named Paul. He is a brilliant, handsome little guy. I love him with all that I am. My dog is Vinny. I’m his dumb friend. my heart’s on my sleeve. my head is a siv.
