Ben Roy is one of the fastest up and coming comics the Denver comedy scene has to offer. Fast paced, witty, and opinionated, he is poised to take the entertainment industry by storm with his unique blend of rant, sarcastic, observational, and high-energy humor. He is a regular headliner and feature act the Comedy Works.
Ben is a Maine native and singer for local punks the 29th Street Disciples and he has carved a reputation as the most unhinged, energetic member of the Wrist Deep Productions collective, a DIY comedy quartet that holds weekly open-mic nights at the Squire along with recently headlining Comedy Works downtown and Los Comicos Super Hilariosos shows. He was recently featured in the new book, “Mock Stars: Indie Comedy and the Dangerously Funny” and was described as “gloriously erratic, mixing Lewis Black’s quivering indignation with Bill Hicks’ vitriol and David Cross’s unapologetic misanthropy.”.
