Literally a fragmented phrase in Italian translating to “air tare,” referencing an obscure form of measurement, Aria Tari has been weighing heavily into the music scene since the band came together in 2006. After two years honing and perfecting, September 2008 celebrates the release of the band’s EP, Melancholy Eyes, titled after their restless and evocative track: “Cause every time I’d rise and every time/I’d look into your melancholy eyes/You were looking away.”
