Annuals is Adam Baker, Kenny Florence, Zack Oden, Nick Radford, Mike Robinson, and Anna Spence. Music, and lyrics written, and arranged by Adam Baker. The musicians of Annuals are all multi-instrumentalists and all play many different sound creators on stage. The project began around 2000 when Adam started recording his songs in his basement. A few demos began floating around, and it became time to put out a record after way to many songs had been recorded. Adam had been skipping school to record daily. Terpsikhore Records agreed to put out the first Annuals release called “Lay Down Dry,” which is now out of print. After the release of Lay Down Dry, many shows followed. As well as a few sparse east coast tours. In 2005, Ace Fu Records signed Annuals, and of course a record follows. Be He Me was once again made 97% at home, with the exception of additional mixing/producing in Los Angeles (Mickey Petrailia), and New York City (John Schmersal, Brian Thorn). Which leads us up to the present. In the next year Annuals intends to be on the road promoting their new record, Be He Me, in stores in September 2006.
